Resources - Get Rich Quick from Websites

Get rich quick Scams

If it is too good to be true that is exactly what it is. We all know that get rich quick scams exist on the internet and everywhere else for that matter. I myself have been tempted by the promise of instant success and £60,000 a year income in just one year.

The problem is the only people earning that sort of money are the scammers themselves. There are ways to make money from the internet and it can be faster and easier than ‘in the real world’. However, the most successful E-zillionaires put a lot of time and effort into their websites. More importantly they channel those efforts correctly.

First off I want to tell you about some real opportunities. I could spend a lot of my time and your time, covering all the different get rich quick scams. But if like me, you are fed up of even hearing the words scam, spam and spyware, I’m sure you will want me to just get on with it.

You website probably has untapped revenue, all you have to do is identify it and exploit it. Don’t just place advertisements sporadically on your site, follow these guidelines and convert more visitors to conversions.

Its all about trust…

Banners, pop-ups and so on and so forth have incredibly bad reputations. Visitors to your website will actually turn there attention away from the banners. People don’t trust them and have negative connotations connected to them. So to hope to maximize your sites revenue with them is utter madness.

Continuing along this theme of trust and branding that I am always cracking on about. Google is about as big a name as you can get so far as the web is concerned. It is big because people trust it to provide unbiased information based on their search. For this reason, if you want to place adds on your site, Google is perfect. There Adwords system reads the content of your page and only displays adds that are relevant. This ensures a better CTR (Click Through Ratio) because people trust Google to give them good resources. That leaves you with more time to concentrate on the quality of your content.

More information can be found at Googles website. Google being the giant it is has loads of resources and support pages. Another reason I can not only recommend it but use it!

Pre-selling... sounds great!

For starters, more content means higher search rankings. Great but once people arrive at your site, they must be presented with quality content that provides them with good and more importantly FREE information. If you hope to generate sales from your visitors, perhaps ironically the best way to increase your conversion ratios is to not sell to them.

By simply providing information you will become a trusted resource for them, this then enables you to draw their attention to certain products or services you sell. They can then explore your site in an ‘I’m buying’ mood rather than an ‘I’m being sold too’ mood.

What you say to your visitors and how you refer them to your affiliates dramatically affects your conversion ratios from visitors to customers. All of this is explained in far more depth in the classic resource, ‘Make My Words Sell

The proven principles that ‘Make my words sell’ discusses guarantee that you will understand you visitor better and therefore will be able to give them what they are looking for. Helping them make a purchasing decision and guiding them to choosing you.

Hard sell, sell nothing

Consumers are used to reading mass marketing and sifting through flash keywords to get to the information they really want to know but with the web it is TOTALLY different! Your visitors are used to a relax environment where they can close websites at will without being offensive to the publisher. Imagine just closing the door on a sales man, we would like to but somehow it is rather difficult to do without feeling utterly rude.

With the web if people feel like they are being sold to they will automatically become defensive and will be reluctant to buy. The golden rule of sale I hear time and time again is ‘always close the sale’. RUBBISH, if you aim to always close (unless you are a brilliant sales man) you will inevitably arouse immense suspicion in you victim. They will feel pressured and will become defensive and reluctant to make a purchase.

The golden objective of sales is ‘always close the sale’ but it is not the rule to work by.

How ever if you approach a sales pitch with the attitude of how can I identify my potential customer’s problem/desires/ambitions, then give free impartial information. You are actually setting the customer up to sell the product or service to them self.

So the golden rule of sales isn’t ‘always close the sale’ it is ‘people like to buy not be sold to’. By recognizing this fact you will always comply with the golden rule and will always achieve the golden objective.

Pre-Selling summery

Ensure people find your website and enter at a page with information pertaining to there search.

The best way for people to enter you site is through a search engine. So put the time and effort into pushing your website to the top of the search engine rankings for your keywords. For more information about how to do this, see Increase your Search Engine Ranking.

Once you have attracted the visitor, keep them on the site and keep them coming back with lots of free quality information.

To earn revenue from these visitors, refer them to your affiliates or products and services in an open to buy mood. Rather than bombarding your visitors with a sales pitch just give them the information that they want. You goal is to empower them with the knowledge to make a purchasing decision and generate an interest and desire for what you are offering.

There are loads of great resources available on these subjects that cover many areas of selling on line in great depth. I can recommend a few:
